curious.. why is red skin so in?
now, i'm not knocking light skinned women and men, asians, latinos, or whites. i'm not against interracial dating, marriage, or mixed babies... but i'm curious.....
how come, the ones that rep black-centricity, super ethnocentricy, and locs while wearing their fight the power right fist in the air frocks, have all the blue eyed, blonde haired, espanol speakin, j family based outta japan, light skinned screamin "i'm half puerto-rican" chicks plastered everywhere?
if you're SO PRO BLACK, so FOR THE PEOPLE, and the rejuvination of the african-american community and for the healing of our men and women's minds, hearts, and spirits... if you're for teaching the black girls to love self, and not ass-shakin, if you're for teaching the little black boys to love their self and their sister and embrace the skin their in, why don't you have faces that mirror theirs facing them when they click the pics under your name?
now i know i'm darkskinned and i may come off sounding like i'm hating, but i'm not. i could care less what your preference is, who u choose to do, and who u choose to have blow you.. but i'm just curious. i myself, have never gotten caught up in lightskinnd brothas. i've dated a redboy(fell in love with who was inside his skin and not the skin that he was in), an asian, a hispanic, boned a caucasian.. but never intentinionally. never is that what i go out seeking... dark skin is whats in, as far as i'm concerned, its the most beautiful color on this planet, and what i wanna see in my bed everytime i come home..
but i'm curious... whats the fascination?
can somebody answer that please? yall don't feel hypocritical? less spiritual? in ur rhymes u talk about the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice, then i click on ur pics and u got susie mae, and tina ching chang.
